Unlike other branding companies, Branded by Woods owns its own print production facility. Print is where we cut our teeth over 50 years ago, and putting ink on paper still runs through our veins. Our vast knowledge of print production gives us a unique advantage when designing. Designers are no longer trained in the art of print. Therefore, today’s designers don’t design for all the ways your brand will be used; causing ample opportunities for brand inconsistencies. Branded byWoods uses its print knowledge to ensure your brand stays true no matter the media.
Traditional offset printing has been at the core of our business from day one. We understand you have many options when deciding on a print partner and many variables play into your decision. However, since 1971 we have never compromised our principles just to garner more business or lower costs. At Branded by Woods we understand that quality offset printing is an art form. Our press operators have years of industry experience and understand all the nuances of the craft that are needed to produce high-quality pieces. You will never be “just another job” or a project that gets grouped with multiple orders. That’s when mistakes happen and quality suffers. Instead, we believe each print project is unique and deserves individualized attention from a skilled, knowledgeable artisan.
High-end, digital printing is the biggest technology change in the printing industry since the development of the printing press, and Branded by Woods has you covered. When it comes to digital printing there are two methods: Toner Based and Ink Based. Toner based uses a resin to produce your image and that resin lies on top of the sheet. While much of the time, this type of digital printing is exactly what the customer wants, it does have one major drawback. The toner hides the characteristics of the paper stock. Therefore, Branded by Woods also offers its clients an ink based digital print option as well. This option uses the latest technology available to let the paper be as much of the design as what’s being printed. Digital printing also offers clients other advantages such as, quick turnaround times, short run capabilities, and variable data options.
